PUPPANOME TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms ensure a smooth and consistent experience for all dogs and owners.

1. Overview

Puppanome provides a structured, guided walking service designed to support better walking habits, social stability, and real-world exposure.

Services include:

• Calm Pack Introduction
• Foundation Walks
• Calm Pack Walks (membership)
• Calm Pack Explorations and Expeditions (when available)

By engaging with Puppanome services, clients agree to the following Terms of Service.

2. Nature of Service

Puppanome provides structured, behaviour-led experiences.

This is not casual dog walking.

All sessions are designed to:

• develop calm behaviour
• build social confidence
• improve real-world responsiveness

Dogs will be guided and managed using structured handling methods to ensure safety, consistency, and progression.

3. Assessment & Eligibility

All dogs must complete a Calm Pack Introduction before joining services.

 

Puppanome reserves the right to:

• determine a dog’s starting level
• require Foundation Walks before pack integration
• refuse or remove dogs where behaviour presents a safety concern

 

Progression is based on behaviour, not time.

4. Membership Structure

Calm Pack Walks operate as an ongoing weekly membership.

 

Membership includes:

• two structured sessions per week
• Foundation Walks where required
• ongoing behavioural development
• participation in a consistent walking group

 

Membership secures your dog’s place within a structured pack.

5. Payments

Membership operates on a structured weekly basis.

 
Payment Schedule

• Memberships are billed on a weekly recurring bases from the date of sign-up.

• Your dog's structured walks will begin from the agreed start date following your introduction.

Your membership secures your dog's place in the Puppanome structured walking service and confirms your ongoing weekly sessions.

Missed Sessions

• Missed sessions are non-refundable

• Sessions are reserved specifically for dog and cannot be transferred

• Sessions cannot be carried over to future weeks

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

• you will be notified and asked to update your payment method

• payment must be resolved promptly to maintain your dog’s place

 

Puppanome reserves the right to:

• suspend services until payment is successfully processed

• release your dog’s reserved space if payment is not resolved

Additional Services

Explorations and Expeditions:

• are priced separately

• must be paid in advance to confirm booking

Pricing Structure

Puppanome may introduce new pricing structures or adjust rates for future clients.

Existing clients retain their agreed rate unless otherwise stated.

6. Cancellations & Absences

Puppanome operates on a structured weekly membership designed to support consistent behavioural development.

Notice Period

A minimum of one week’s notice is required for:

• cancelling your membership

• changing your dog’s schedule

• pausing services

Short-Notice Cancellations

Cancellations made with less than one week’s notice:

• may still be charged

• are non-refundable

This is due to your dog’s reserved place within a structured pack.

Missed Sessions

• Missed sessions are non-refundable

• Sessions are reserved specifically for dog and cannot be transferred

• Sessions cannot be carried over to future weeks

Consistency is essential for your dog’s progress and pack stability.

Client Holidays

Membership continues during client holidays to retain your dog’s place within their pack.

Repeated Changes

Frequent cancellations or changes may affect your ongoing service and pack placement.

Puppanome Cancellations

Puppanome may cancel or adjust sessions due to:

  • safety concerns

  • severe weather

  • unforeseen circumstances

Where possible, alternative arrangements will be offered.

7. Scheduling & Availability

• Start dates and packs are assigned based on availability, your dog's current skills and pack suitability.

• During the Foundation phase, session times may vary to support your dog’s development.

• Once your dog is ready, they will be placed into a consistent long-term pack slot.

• Pack spaces are limited to maintain calm, structured group environments.

• Requested time slots are considered but not guaranteed.

8. Health & Welfare

Owners confirm their dog:

• is in good health
• is fit for exercise
• is up to date with vaccinations or equivalent protection
• receives regular parasite treatment

• is microchipped and/or wears an ID tag in line with UK legal requirements

 

Dogs must not attend if unwell or contagious.

9. Behaviour & Safety

Dogs will be exposed to real-world environments and, where appropriate, other dogs.

Owners acknowledge:

• dogs may engage in controlled social interaction
• minor incidents may occur

Dogs displaying unsafe or unmanageable behaviour may be removed.

10. Guidance Approach

Puppanome uses structured guidance methods including:

• verbal cues
• physical guidance
• rewards (treats and toys)
• appropriate corrections where necessary

 

These are applied responsibly to maintain safety and development.

11. Off-Lead Work

Dogs may be exercised off-lead where appropriate.

Off-lead work is based on:

• reliability
• behaviour
• safety conditions

 

Owner consent is required.

12. Transport

Where transport is provided:

• dogs will be safely restrained
• all transport complies with UK safety standards

13. Equipment & Handling

Puppanome provides and uses appropriate guidance and walking equipment to ensure safety, communication, and calm development.

This may include:

• training leads
• long lines
• slip leads
• branded pack equipment
• protective gear (e.g. coats)
• clickers
• toys
• treats
• poop bags

 

During guidance, specific leads may be used to provide clear feedback and improve a dog’s awareness of movement and positioning.

All equipment is used responsibly and selected based on the individual dog’s needs.

 

Owners confirm that their dog:

• wears a suitable collar during sessions
• has appropriate identification (ID tag or microchip in accordance with UK law)

 

Owners consent to:

• the use of appropriate training equipment
• handling and guidance during sessions
• measurement and fitting of equipment where required

14. Access & Collection

To maintain a consistent and seamless service, Puppanome may collect and return dogs directly from the client’s property.

Clients may choose to:

• be present at collection and return

• provide access via key, key safe, or secure entry method

 

To support flexibility, many clients choose to provide access so their dog can be collected and returned while they are out.

Where Access Is Provided

• all keys and access details are handled securely

• identifying information is not attached to keys

• access details are stored separately and confidentially

• reasonable care is taken at all times when entering and exiting the property

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• provide accurate and up-to-date access instructions

• ensure safe and suitable entry conditions

• notify Puppanome of any changes to access arrangements

Consent

By providing access details, clients consent to Puppanome entering their property solely for the purpose of dog collection and return.

Liability Note

Puppanome will take all reasonable care when accessing a property. However, Puppanome is not liable for:

• issues arising from faulty locks, alarms, or security systems

• incidents caused by incomplete or incorrect access information 

15. Media & Content

Puppanome captures photos and videos of dogs during sessions as a core part of the service.

 

This content is used for:

• client progress updates

• guidance feedback

• documenting your dog’s development

 

Selected content may also be used for:

• website content

• social media

• promotional material

 

All media is used respectfully and in line with the Puppanome brand.

By using Puppanome services, you acknowledge and agree to this use of media.

16. Service Availability

Explorations and Expeditions:

• are additional services
• may not always be available
• will be introduced as the business develops

17. Emergency Care

In the event of illness or injury:

• owners will be contacted immediately
• veterinary care will be sought if necessary

Owners are responsible for any associated costs.

18. Liability

Puppanome operates with appropriate care and insurance.

However:

• dogs participate at the owner’s risk
• Puppanome is not liable for undisclosed conditions

All reasonable steps are taken to ensure safety.

19. Client Conduct & Expectations

To maintain a calm, structured, and effective environment for all dogs, clients are expected to support the following:

Consistency

Dogs benefit from routine and repetition.

Clients agree to:

• maintain their scheduled sessions

• support consistency in their dog’s routine

Behavioural Commitment

Puppanome provides structured, real-world walking experiences designed to guide and develop calm behaviour over time.

Clients understand that:

• progress is built through consistent, repeated exposure to structured environments

• dogs will be guided and corrected where necessary during sessions

• Puppanome does not replace individual training or reinforcement at home

 

Owners are responsible for maintaining and reinforcing appropriate behaviour outside of sessions to support their dog’s overall progress.

Consistency between sessions and home environment will significantly influence the speed and stability of your dog’s development

Home Environment

Where guidance is provided:

• clients are encouraged to follow simple handling and structure at home

• consistency between sessions and home life supports faster progress

Communication

Clients agree to:

• communicate respectfully

communicate openly about their dog’s behaviour, health, or changes

• respond to important service updates when required

 

Clients are expected to communicate respectfully.

Puppanome reserves the right to refuse or terminate service where necessary.

Respect for Structure

Puppanome operates on structured systems designed for safety and progression.

Clients agree to respect:

• scheduling decisions

• pack placements

• progression timing based on behaviour, not preference

Puppanome reserves the right to refuse or terminate service where necessary. 

20. Agreement

By engaging with Puppanome services, clients confirm that:

• all provided information is accurate
• they understand the structured nature of the service
• they agree to these Terms of Service
